In November 2017 SCI Catalunya organized a study visit to Palestine. As a member of the MIDI group, the branch saw the need for evaluating the situation on-the-ground despite the long relationship of collaboration the organization has had with these territories. 

SCI is very active in the field of non-formal education, and Branches and SCI International organise numerous related events every year, such as seminars or training courses. To address existing needs in the non-formal education field, in 2013 the International Executive Committee established the SCI Pool of Trainers and Facilitators (TP). Due to the arising vacancies, the SCI Pool of Trainers and Facilitators is now in the position to invite new trainers to join the TP.
 

For this month's 2020 interview, we talked to Nerea de Miguel, who is an activist within VIA - NL (Dutch branch of SCI). Here is what she said about her first workcamps, peace and what 2020 means to her. 

As the previous year was coming to the end, SCI Germany hosted an inspiring meeting in the Kubitz seminar house in Berlin where they invited organizations that were involved in projects in Germany in the previous year. Two parallel meetings, with some joint sessions happened - one was SCI Germany with SAVA working group members (VCV,CID,CVS and PVN) and another one was with SCI Germany, Ukrainian( SVIT-Ukraine) and Russian (Youth Memorial Perm, AYA and Sodrujevstvo) organizations.
